Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website horizonboost.top (the "Website"), the Horizon Boost Discord server and every service ordered through them. The services are provided by Horizon Boost ("we", "us"), an independent service run by private individuals.

1.2 By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.

1.3 You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, you may only order with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

2. The services

2.1 Horizon Boost offers the following services for the video game Rocket League, on PC (Steam and Epic Games) only:

Rank boost: a player from our team plays on your account, or with you on your account, until the rank you ordered is reached.
Play with a booster: a player from our team plays with you, on it's own account, for the time you ordered.
Coaching: a live session with a player from our team who reviews and advises on your gameplay.
Extras: optional additions to a rank boost, such as reward placements and streaming the boost live.

2.2 We describe the expected result of each service in good faith. Rocket League is a competitive online game and match outcomes depend on matchmaking, teammates and opponents. We therefore commit to delivering the service as described, but we do not guarantee a fixed number of games, a fixed completion time, or a specific match rating beyond the rank ordered.

2.3 Coaching and play-with-a-booster sessions are services of effort, not of result. We do not guarantee that you will reach a particular rank after a session.

3. Orders and payment

3.1 Prices are shown on the Website in euros and include any applicable VAT. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you place the order.

3.2 Payments are processed by our e-commerce platform SellAuth and its payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card or payment details.

3.3 A contract is formed when your payment is confirmed. You will receive an order confirmation with an order ID by email.

3.4 To start your order you must join our Discord server at https://discord.gg/Nh2E3w6hqT, open a ticket in the order channel and send your order ID. All communication about your order takes place in that ticket. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if we cannot verify it, if the order details are wrong, or if we suspect fraud.

3.5 We never ask for payment through private messages. Payments made outside the Website or your ticket are not made to Horizon Boost and we are not responsible for them.

4. Account access and your responsibilities

4.1 For a rank boost where our player plays on your account, you agree to give that player temporary access to your Epic Games or Steam account, shared only inside your ticket. You confirm that the account is yours and that you are entitled to share access to it.

4.2 You acknowledge that account sharing and boosting may be against the terms of service of Epic Games, Psyonix or Steam, and that the publisher may take action against an account, including restrictions or a ban. You order these services at your own risk. Horizon Boost is not responsible for any action a game publisher or platform takes against your account.

4.3 Our players play fairly. They never use cheats, scripts or third-party software, and never trade, sell or use your items or contact your friends.

4.4 During a rank boost you must not log in to the account, unless you ordered a play-with-the-booster service. Logging in can interrupt or undo progress, and delays caused this way are not our responsibility.

4.5 We recommend that you enable two-factor authentication and change your password once the service is complete.

5. Delivery

5.1 Your booster or coach agrees a start time with you in your ticket. We aim to start orders within 48 hours of the ticket being opened, and we keep you updated after each session.

5.2 If we cannot start your order, we will tell you in your ticket and refund it in full.

6. Conduct

6.1 You agree to treat our team and other members with respect. Harassment, threats, chargeback abuse or attempts to obtain a service without paying may lead to the order being stopped without refund for work already done, and to removal from our Discord server.

6.2 You must not resell our services or use them for any unlawful purpose.

7. Refunds and withdrawal

Refunds and your right of withdrawal are explained in our Refund Policy and Right of Withdrawal pages, which form part of these Terms.

8. Liability

8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of in-game items, progress or rank caused by matchmaking, server problems or your own use of the account, or for action taken by a game publisher or platform as described in clause 4.2.

8.3 Subject to clause 8.1, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

9. Intellectual property

The Horizon Boost name, logo and Website content belong to us. Rocket League and its rank icons are trademarks or copyrighted works of Psyonix LLC and Epic Games, Inc. Horizon Boost is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Psyonix, Epic Games, Valve or Discord.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the Website when you placed it.

11. Governing law and disputes

11.1 These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.

11.2 If you have a complaint, contact us first in a support ticket on our Discord server.

11.3 Any dispute may be brought before the competent courts under applicable law. Consumers can always bring proceedings in the courts of the country where they live.
